About eight club members made the trek into MSAC to swim at the Metro West event. They did very well, setting quite a number of PB's

We had two club members swim in this Ocean Swim (great experience for them). Well done Domenique and Lachlan
Regular training will help you with competition. If you don't train regularly, and to the best of your ability, you could find yourself in a position where you have trouble physically after the race to walk or or even breathe. Just remember that training is not just learning to do your strokes correctly, it is also getting fit enough to be able to handle the stress of competing.
According to the Council next year should be the year of the start of planning for the new pool. There has still not been an official announcement on this so we should not rest on our laurels. We still need to push the Council on this as they have not even made a decision whether the new pool will be built in the City Centre zone or on the current position
The best way that we can keep the club solid is by making sure that we have a large membership. We can all help this by speaking to people we know about the benefits of the club and the fun we have. Who knows, these people may end up joining.
